1. Scope
Merident Innovations GmbH, Sonnenrainweg 10, 9032 Engelburg, Switzerland, operates at dentosophydirectory.com an online directory of dentists and therapists with Dentosophy training (the "Directory").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between Merident Innovations GmbH (the "Provider") and the customer or the therapists/dentists listed in the Directory. The Terms apply to all agreements regarding participation in events, the acquisition of content, and inclusion in the Directory. By accessing or using the Directory, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Directory Is Informational Only — Not Medical Advice or an Endorsement
The Directory is an online, informational directory that lists dentists and therapists who have completed Dentosophy training. It serves solely to inform patients. Merident Innovations GmbH does not act as an intermediary for medical services. A treatment relationship is formed exclusively between the patient and the respective practitioner. Merident Innovations GmbH accepts no liability for the quality, performance, or results of treatments by the listed practitioners. A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee of any practitioner, their qualifications, their services, or any outcome. 3. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
If the customer is a consumer (a private individual), they have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded or, in the case of digital content, from the time access is provided.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Merident Innovations GmbH, c/o Dr. Rebekka Hueber, Sonnenrainweg 10, 9032 Engelburg, Switzerland, email: info@meridentinnovations.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email).
4. Liability
Merident Innovations GmbH is liable for damages only in cases of intent or gross negligence, unless the breach concerns essential contractual obligations. In the case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.
The Provider gives no guarantee of any particular success of the events or content, as this depends on the individual implementation by the participant. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Directory is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and the Provider does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information on it is accurate or current.
5. Intellectual Property
All materials provided in connection with the events or content (e.g. videos, texts, workbooks) are protected by copyright. The customer receives a simple, non-transferable right of use for personal purposes. Passing materials on to third parties or commercial use is not permitted without express consent. The copyright and all other rights in the content, images, photos, and other files on the website belong exclusively to Merident Innovations GmbH or the specifically named rights holders.
6. Special Provisions for the Dentosophy Directory
Inclusion in the Directory is made exclusively by Merident Innovations GmbH. The general prerequisite is completion of the Dentosophy Curriculum of the Dentosophy Academy. There is no general legal entitlement to inclusion in the Directory unless this has been separately agreed by contract.
Because entries are centrally approved and managed by the Provider, listed practitioners are obliged to notify Merident Innovations GmbH in writing (by email) without delay of any changes to their practice data (address, email, telephone).
The Directory serves solely to inform patients. Merident Innovations GmbH does not act as an intermediary for medical services. A treatment relationship is formed exclusively between the patient and the respective practitioner. Merident Innovations GmbH accepts no liability for the quality, performance, or results of the treatments by the listed practitioners.
The "Verified" badge identifies practitioners who have completed the Dentosophy Academy Curriculum. The Dentosophy Academy certificate is a private certificate of participation, not a state-recognized professional title or continuing-education title under the Swiss Medical Professions Act (MedBG).
7. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the GDPR and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / DSG). Further information can be found in our Privacy Policy.
8. Final Provisions and Governing Law
Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen, Switzerland, where the customer is a merchant. For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply. Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
9. Modifications to These Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Directory after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
